Our Certified Digital Marketing Professionals Are Facilitators

Leap University Certified Digital Marketing Professionals are facilitators who ensure that well-planned digital marketing strategies are in place to satisfy the targets set by the Marketing Strategy. Given the nature of the online world, which is constantly evolving and expanding—new channels are developing with greater frequency, and audiences are continuously exploring new sources of online content— Digital Marketing is one of the most crucial Aspects of Sales and Marketing. Certified Marketing Strategy Professional will be able to define all marketing activities that use electronic devices connected to the internet to engage with customers (e.g., computers, tablets, smartphones).

There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is preferable to complete the SMstudy® Certified Digital Marketing Associate and study the recommended processes from the SMstudy Guide – Digital Marketing book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Strategy Professional. All the required resources are also provided as part of the online certification course.

We define Sales and Marketing in terms of processes that comprise a series of actions that leads to a particular result. Each process requires specific inputs and then uses tools to create specific outputs. Our Guide to the Sales and Marketing Body of Knowledge, also referred to as the “SMstudy® Guide,” is a series of books that provide guidelines for the Sales and Marketing of products and services. It offers a comprehensive framework that can be used to effectively manage Sales and Marketing efforts in any organization. The objective of the SMstudy® Guide is to provide a practical and process-oriented approach to Sales and Marketing that emphasizes how various elements of Sales and Marketing can be integrated to develop a comprehensive and effective organizational Sales and Marketing Plan.

Learn How To Avoid Fragmented Digital Marketing

Today digital marketing has become increasingly fragmented with several hundred television and radio channels, as well as a large variety of print media, including newspapers, magazines, and trade publications.

Moreover, since the late 1990s, with the increased popularity of the internet and, more recently, smartphones and tablets, many options now exist for advertisers to reach a global audience using digital media marketing methods such as mobile phone apps, Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, QR codes, gamification, and proximity marketing.

With all of these options, many marketers find it beneficial to use an integrated approach to marketing by leveraging the strengths of various types of media. Companies must evaluate all media in terms of who the target audience is and what media resonates with them best. In many cases, assumptions will need to be made and incorporated into the media-testing framework.

It is a fact that people now spend more time on the internet using smartphones, tablets, or computers than they spend through conventional mass media, such as television, radio, or newspapers. This is especially true for the thirty-year-old and younger market segment. Since Sales and Marketing is most successful when it meets the demands of consumers, this change in consumer preferences is significantly altering the Sales and Marketing landscape for established companies.

Businesses are discovering that conventional mass media marketing has limited effectiveness and some customer segments are not even reachable using these traditional media forms. Fragmented new-age marketing generally supports new, small brands with much smaller budgets targeted directly to customers in a global marketplace. This represents a significant distinction from conventional mass media marketing, where achieving a global reach for a small company may have been prohibitively expensive.

While mass media marketing is less targeted and primarily focused on affecting emotional attitudes about the brand, new-age marketing is data-driven and more focused on driving specific calls to action.

Also, while mass media marketing typically involves interruption, new-age marketing is about engagement. Unlike older media options where Sales and Marketing communications were primarily uni-directional, communications have increasingly become multi-directional.

Although generally a benefit to both producers and consumers, this trend can make brand management challenging for companies if actual or potential customers perceive that a product does not reflect the brand message intended by marketing efforts.

Due to the nature of digital sales and marketing, consisting of multiple media forms and the ability to generate significant information, huge amounts of data commonly referred to as big data are now available to companies. The ability to process this data through proper marketing analytic, and assimilate such data to generate valuable insights, can become a significant differentiator for ensuring that companies engage in smart marketing.

Consider Our Certified Scrum Educational Programs

Are you looking for practical, hands-on Scrum Training? Are you or your team building a product with a new process can be a daunting prospect. Being asked to serve as the team’s Product Owner can be downright intimidating. You’ve got an idea of what Scrum is and have read a few articles or books on the topic, but you really don’t know how to start putting that theory into action. That’s where the Certified Scrum educational program comes in. The course gives you just enough information to understand how Scrum works, but focuses mainly on functioning as the product owner or customer for a Scrum team. You will learn about activities such as managing stakeholders, ROI, backlog grooming, creating effective stories, acceptance criteria for stories, defining done, and so on.

Scrum is a proven lean and agile approach to delivering results, a simple “inspect and adapt” framework used to organize work for maximum efficiency and effectiveness using three roles, three ceremonies, and three artifacts wherein stories express requirements and tasks express work.

While the Product Owner role is conceptually simple and involves a few guidelines, the role emphasizes a particular mindset. Many product owners enact the role, but don’t readily internalize the mindset, and thus don’t experience the benefits of the role.

This workshop not only provides participants with the skills for creating compelling visions, actionable roadmaps, and useful requirements using agile techniques, but it also gives participants practical hands-on experience applying these techniques throughout the workshop. Participants will be introduced to agility and create a vision, roadmap, and work with user roles, user stories, and acceptance tests.

This course is intended for software development teams and professionals. Scrum can be used on other types of projects. Consult with your Effective Agile Development education for information about customizing this course for your team and organization.

To be effective, Scrum Product Owners need to have a firm grasp on the value drivers for their product, and a keen sense of how to use agile practices and Scrum to maximize that value. The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) assessments allow people to validate their understanding of Scrum and product ownership, and how they would respond to real situations that would challenge them.

Whether you are a Product Owner, Portfolio Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager or Business Analyst or just responsible for defining product vision or requirements our course is for you.

Your new education can give you a leg up on your competition either in a freelance or on as a gem on your resume.

Use Sales and Marketing Certification To Help Climb The Ladder

Our Sales and Marketing Certification program is designed to enhance and test the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform a particular job, and, upon successfully passing a certification exam, to represent a declaration of a particular individual’s professional competence. In some professions, certification is a requirement for employment or practice.

For the credibility of the Sales and Marketing profession, it is important to recognize marketing and sales professionals who have met and surpassed high standards of education, experience, knowledge, and ethical conduct. Sales & Marketing Certification we have established for sales certification and marketing certification programs for professionals to complete in order to be able to use its professional designations. These sales certification and marketing certification programs involve part-time self-study and an online examination process.

Your sales certification or marketing certification designation shows to the world that you are a sales and marketing professional. Sales certification and marketing certification announce your professional competence to your clients, employer, peers, and clients.

It is important for us to note that the fact that we are in the twenty-first century does not make all the earlier avenues of Sales and Marketing obsolete. Some companies marketing consumer goods continue to spend a significant proportion of their marketing budget on conventional mass media marketing. In some cases a seller’s marketplace continues to be the reality for certain commodities that have a limited number of producers, or where the production is highly regulated by the government or controlled by monopolies or duopolies. Similarly, in some regions or countries, traditional marketplaces continue to flourish.

Rather than viewing the changes as completely replacing the earlier practices, Sales and Marketing approaches should be viewed as a continuum where recent innovations can co-exist with earlier practices. It is the responsibility of a company’s Sales and Marketing teams to make the strategic decisions that will work best to achieve the desired outcomes, given the reality of the markets and particular consumer preferences.

Sales and Marketing students, who read material on the subject, often find it confusing because authors offer varied perspectives that may be difficult to assimilate and comprehend in the present day. Each author’s perspective can also vary depending on when the material was written (i.e., where he or she was on the Sales and Marketing timeline), his or her individual or industry preferences and experiences, and other factors. Conversely, the concepts covered in this Sales and Marketing Body of Knowledge (SMstudy® Guide) are not limited to the perspective of any particular author or industry. The SMstudy Guide was developed by VMEdu, Inc., a professional education provider which has educated over 400,000 students.

How Has The Connected Internet Changed Sales And Marketing

If you are marketing effectively, then the Connected Internet of Things has changed the way you are marketing or selling – every hour, every minute, every second of what you do should never be the same. It doesn’t matter if you are marketing in a brick and mortar store or do your business entirely on the Internet. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t even a marketer. As a consumer, the Internet of Things has changed the way you live.

The connected Internet has changed many things, including the how companies and interact with their customers. Before I divulge into my series on lead generation, it’s very important to understand how the Internet has changed customer behavior. Let’s take a look back at the customer before and after the Internet.

Through a variety of marketing channels (digital and physical), customers are the first to inquire about a relationship with a company.

With the advent of the Internet, customers have access to a wealth of information. From online reviews to a company’s social media page, customers can now make extremely informed decisions prior to any purchasing.

Today it’s about building and continuing a relationship with customers through delightful and amazing content. The power of business has shifted to marketing. Now more than ever, marketing and sales need to align in order to grow a sustainable relationship with a customer.

CEOs and marketing execs can now make informed decisions based on customer data gathered from their own analytics.

So, with so much of a consumer behavioral change, it’s only right that our marketing and sales strategies change, too. Introducing lead generation: The process of capturing interest in a product or service for the sole purpose of creating an effective sales channel. Stay tuned for future posts on how exactly lead generation works!

The proliferation of broadband Internet—enabling consumers to acquire and share entertainment goods easily online—has had major consequences for the marketing of entertainment goods, in particular for the music industry. Some speculate that, due to illegal file sharing, the old business model, where concerts were used to promote record sales, no longer applies. Others suggest an inversion of the business model, where recorded music stimulates concert demand. Despite the fact that concerts have become the major revenue source for many artists, little research has examined these possibilities.

What Does Sales and Marketing Mean To You

This is an important question, because a carefully crafted combination of sales and marketing is vital for successful business growth. “Selling” or making sales consists of interpersonal interaction-the one-on-one meetings, telephone calls and networking-that you engage in with prospects and customers.

Sales and Marketing are widely used terms to describe the means of communication between the company and the consumer audience. Marketing is the adaptation of the commercial activities and use of institutions by the organizations with a purpose to induce behavioral change on a short-term or permanent basis. The American Marketing Association most recently defined Marketing as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”

The techniques used in marketing include choosing target markets through market analysis and market segmentation, as well as understanding methods of influence on the consumer behavior. The marketing planning creates strategies for the company to place advertising to the dedicated consumer.

From a societal point of view, marketing provides the link between a society’s material requirements and its economic patterns of response. This way marketing satisfies these needs and wants through the development of exchange processes and the building of long-term relationships.

In the case of nonprofit organization marketing, the aim is to increase the deliver an ethos message about the organization’s services to the applicable audience. Governments often employ marketing to communicate messages with a social purpose, such as a public health or safety message, to citizens.

The ‘Customer orientation’ is perhaps the most common orientation used in contemporary marketing. It involves a firm essentially basing its marketing plans around the marketing concept, and thus supplying products to suit new consumer tastes. As an example, a firm would employ market research to gauge consumer desires, use R&D (research and development) to develop a product attuned to the revealed information, and then utilize promotion techniques to ensure persons know the product exists. R&D companies often parallel customer orientation with R&D phases to ensure the desired customer specifications are produced. Customization Maximization (similar to profit maximization in economics,) is the measurable approach to more efficiently sustaining specific customer needs, in effort to maximize the customization of the product or service offered to the customer, by the measure of data relating to responses, feedback, and elasticity.

The holistic marketing concept looks at marketing as a complex activity and acknowledges that everything matters in marketing – and that a broad and integrated perspective is necessary in developing, designing and implementing marketing programs and activities. The four components that characterize holistic marketing are relationship marketing, internal marketing, integrated marketing, and socially responsive marketing. Market segmentation and positioning have increased the divergence of society, further segregating and preventing a holistic population. Holistic Marketing helps converge the segments in an approach to improve the entire market through social responsibility and convergence. Holistic marketing disengages the political marketing activities of “divide and conquer”, or market segmentation.
